you can see that there are negative details like Sorrows, woes, enemies ravaged, alone with Grendel, etc.
by saying "I shall manage the matter" he is showing even when it gets bad or he is faced with obstacles he confidently believes he can manage what is going on.

At the end it speaks of his great strength, an attribute of most heroes. It also speaks of all the people who know of his strength giving rise to the idea that he is well know, another attribute of most heroes.
