f(x) = line y = x I am just using values of x and finding f(x) to get that now if i use g(x) when x = 1 = -2f(1) = -2 so point (1 -2) g(4) = -2f(4) = -8 (4, -8) g(x) = -2x you have the graph of f(x) to get g(x) change the y value to (-2x)

I wished I could better understand this :'(

with time and practice you will. math takes a lot of practice to get very good. the processes never change and then time passes and you forget stuff. when I was much, much, much younger I did a 2yr course in 1yr and passed it. now I see the stuff and it's like oh i've seen that before.

OpenStudy (triciaal):

do you have any questions on why I finally got picture #5?

OpenStudy (triciaal):

do you see that only the y value was changing and by a factor of -2 for any value of x?
