1/3y+1/4=5/12

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx.):

Put them in LCD terms with 12 being the denominator 4/12y + 3/12 = 5/12

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx.):

Minus 3/12 from both sides you get 4/12y = 2/12

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx.):

Do you know what to do from here?

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx.):

Ok so now you divide both sides by 4/14 to isolate y you should get y = 6/12 or 1/2
