Define f(1) in a way that extends f(s)=(s^3-1)/(s^2-1) to be continuous at s=1. My book says the answer is 3/2 but that would make it seem like all they did was take the two exponents and put them over each other. Am I wrong in that reasoning?

Here how I do it

Okay, thanks :)
