Hey guys, my name is Prae and I'm super excited for this opportunity to attend Point Blanc. I've grown up hearing about the Academy and reading about it in the news but I never in a million years thought I'd get the chance to attend. As some of you already know, the only reason I get the amazing opportunity to be among you is thanks to the efforts of my father in his search for a way to counter proto-comatose state of suspension - stasis - in patients who have suffered a hiatus in cerebral, cardiac and pulmonary activity as a result of sever accidents. Its taken up the majority of his life but just last month he cracked it and we've already been able to revive thousands of patients worldwide. And as you can imagine; its made us a little rich. My family and I have always lived simple lives; but we remained faithful that our actions can benefit others' lives and our own too. I would hereby like to erect and dedicate this statue of my father as Point Blanc Academy's mascot as he is a figure and inspiration to all those striving to make the world a better place now and in the future. I can't over-stress the importance of family and faith. Before my father's miracle break through last month we were poor and unassuming and to be quite honest, no one knew we existed. But faith in God and standing by your mates really helped my family get to where we are today; saving "lost" loved ones. I want to tell each and every one of you here today to have faith because look at where it got me, and look at where it got my father; and look how many families we have reunited. I implore our principle to consider the two principles aforementioned: faith and family. First, our God is a great God and he provides everything we need even when we don't always see it, one of the things he provides is family: those closest and dearest to us. You can't have one without the other. This path will not be easy, but we are a family and we have faith in that fact. We may be targeted because we do not conform, or because our school is more opulent or affluent than most, but we will endure - just as my father did. Good things come to those who strive for perfection, and God comes to those who fail and try again and again. Thank you for this opportunity to be part of Point Blanc and for dedicating this statue of my father in recognition of his life saving achievement. C'est la volonte de Dieu.
