How come mods don't do anything??!! I'm not Against them or anything like that!!:) I'm not mad at ANY of the moderators!!:) But I just wanna know how come they don't really do anything like(giving warnings, banning or whatever:)

I can assure you with 100% certainty that they've already warned that troll and have taken actions against him. Nevertheless, no matter what they do, it doesn't seem to affect him/her.

I guess we just need to ignore that rogue user until they finally decide to give up on their misdeeds.

The suspensions that we have been given to this person you are referring to doesn't work. The moderators themselves cannot do anything in this matter.
We are hoping the admins can handle this person somehow.

This user seems to be behind a proxy server-- mods can't do anything about that. The proxy hides their IP address, which prevents mods and admins from seeing anything. Besides, mods are incapable of placing an IP ban on any user without an admin.
I'm sure that OS is working on proxy server bans, which would prevent anyone under a certain list of proxies from accessing the tools used to spam and troll users.
As for suspensions, the user seems to have played around with the site to allow them to access the site even after having been suspended.
The best the mods can do is delete each and every post that this user makes.

I'm not even sure if deleting the posts while he is on is good enough.
Every time he notices a thread is deleted, he posts like 20 more threads in its place.

There is a choice:
1) Delete each thread and keep him amused longer so he makes more.

Moderators can suspend people for a very very long time.
Admins can ipban them and ban (which is perm suspension).

But it doesn't matter if we can suspend him, because the suspensions don't actually work.
It is like we are shooting arrows with our bow at some being who isn't effected by the damage.

When a person signs up they agree to follow the laws of the state of Delaware. What this person is doing is actually a crime under Title 11 of the Delaware Code, section 932. It also falls under the CFAA. Interestingly enough, any sort of evading suspension on the internet actually does. But it would take Inquus to file a suit for anything to really be done. Our users are insecure and they are open t be able to get stolen any info that they have saved to their computers such as credit card codes, bank accounts, personal info like addresses, email, phone numbers. Guys we have to do something about it already. It's not a joke anymore at first it was just evading suspensions (not a big deal that he's trolling the site) but when it comes to the safety of our users we have to find all means necessary to find a solution to this. Jolg, think about it. If we get law enforcement involved, that would only bring more attention to Open Study's lame security. More and more people would pile on, and eventually this site would collapse. Besides, this kid is probably still fourteen/fifteen and if their parents are just suddenly informed of a lawsuit headed their way over something they (hopefully) had no idea was going on, how much good do you think that would do?
