Determind whether each pair of lines is parallel, perpendicular, or neither. I solved the problem and would like someone to double check my work to make sure I'm correct. Q: 6+4x=3y 3x+4y=8 A: 6=3y-4x <-- subtract -6 by both sides 3y=-4x-6 3y/3=-4x/3=6/3 <---- divide 3 by both sides y=-2x/1-3 slope m=-2/1 3x+4y=8 -3x -3x <-- subtract both sides by 3 4y/4=-3x/4+8/4 <--- reduce y=-1x/2+2 slope m= -1/2 so the lines are perpendicular?
