i read the book Enders game and my teacher is asking me for a human rights issue in the book im not sure what rights issue would correspond to the book. help please :)
I don't know. I have not read the book yet, but I have seen the movie. I understood the movie pretty well. I think I might need some examples of human rights issues to help me maybe see some in the story...
some examples would be like genocide freedom ...... child labor
In Ender's Game, at what age do they start training for the alien apocolypse thingie?
ender was like 6 or 7 i think
Well maybe that could be an issue. Maybe you have an opinion that that is too young, and they should wait until they are pre-teens or teens to start training to "attack" aliens and use "weapons".
Thats really deep, i read it for a pleasure reading book and dont know the first 12 chapters from the end but i thought the main human rights issue was enders life, his bother peter was always beating him up and his parents didnt seem to give a damn about him. He was born because his brother and sister didnt have the correct personality to save the world. More importantly, he was sent into space and trained to annihilate an alien race that people killed because the humans and buggers didnt understand each other. Above all, ender kills them without knowing it, the teacher guy from his school trick him. Sorry i know thats more than chapter 12 but theres probably something you can use
i think maybe child labor or something like that could be a possible issue in the book, thanks for the help :)
