hi welcome to Openstudy! what do you have to do with the expression? do you have to solve for b? I will assume that you have to solve fore b. so you have \(b-9+6b=30\) first things you have to do is to \(\sf collect\ like\ terms\) it will be: \(b+6b=30+9\) -> to get this I just add 9 on both sides to transpose 9 to the right side. then you have to simplify this. tell me what you got and i'll check it and tell you what's the next thing you have to do.
