Why do people of both Jewish and Christian faith trace the start of their religions to Isaac?
ALL the Abrahamic faiths share a large hunk of religious texts for a reason. They are all related, Christianity, Islam, Baha'i etc all evolved from the Hebrew traditions. <waving at the thumbs downers> Actually the Moderate Muslims refer to those following other Abrahamic faiths religions as being "people of the book" because they all recognise Abraham, Moses & other OT prophets. Christ wanted to reform the Jewish faith, not start a new one - that was Paul's baby. Islam recognises Christ as a prophet & a person to be respected, just that there was another prophet following him. The Bahai' recognise the Christian & Islamic prophets, but believe a new prophet will show every thousand years & expect another soon after their "post-Mohammed" prophet Bahá'u'lláh & yeah that makes all the hatred amongst the Abrahamic faiths more ironic as they share a lot more than they do not. & FTR I'm _not_ of an Abrahamic faith.
@helpplease did you honestly copy and paste that answer from another website? word for word?
