ok, so i was posted to drop water onto a penny , & it asked me what what property of water did this lab represent?

when u put ice on water it floats due to the fact that the density of ice is less than that of water to due to expansion in hydrogen bonding and its starts to melt and the water get cold....... The weight of the ice cube will always remain the same regardless of whether the ice cube is solid or completely melted. When this ice cube is put into a glass of water, the ice cube displaces enough water to support its weight. hope it helps @princessiva
