what region (in Venn Diagrams) is A' union B' ? or is it the universal set?

It's all region except II.

If you try and color A', then color B', then II will be only region left uncolored.

If you mean A' intersect B', then IV will be only region, because if you color A' red and color B' blue, then universal set will be only region with color purple.

Does that make sense?

so in this problem, i have to put the correct numbers in the right regions, did i do this correct?

n(A' U B') = 40
\[n(A \cup B)\] = 10
