has anyone ever read the great Gatsby If so what was jay Gatsby behavior in the book and what were the consequences of them?

Gatsby only saw daisy as a perfect person, because of that he was scared to see her flaws because he saw her so perfect. He never was able to find out how daisy actually was because he only saw her from afar. (Just my guess)
