Thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y+2=4(x-3) <--- you distribute the 4 y+2=4x-12 <---- subtract the 2 on both sides y=4x-10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The slope form is y=mx+b so you solve for y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem I am studying for a test today and it's exactly this. Good luck :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's the only other problem I'm stuck on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Give me a sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=-3x+3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you see?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The signs are a bit tricky that's why

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry it's first option

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got that in the beginning it's just I worked it out completely lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well the way you work it out is by the problem y-y1=m(x-x1) Then you plug in the numbers which in this case the m(slope) is -3 and the points are X1 and X2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah that's the only way my professor taught me how to work that out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How come you can choose two answers it told you so?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you same here :)
