Is -22 a rational or irrational number?
\[-22=\frac{-22}{1}\]
It can be a ration so its a rational number right?
-22 is an integer and Im pretty sure integers count as rational numbers
first, learn the definition of the terms before you start asking questions
just double checked... it is... so -22 is a rational number
any whole number can be written in fractional form so yeah...
it really helps to know the definitions of the terms as math is very precise at giving definitions
Is -22 just a whole number and a integer or is it also a integer, irrational number, and a natural number?
It is not a natural number...natural numbers are numbers like 1,2,3, etc... it is an integer because integers are negative numbers, and it is a rational number, it is not an irrational number.
And it is not a whole number, whole numbers are natural numbers but they include 0 as well
kendrick, learn your definitions
ok thanks so it is only an integer and a rational number
They are confusing sometimes, there is nothing wrong with asking questions @freethinker
yes @KendrickLamar2014
Free thinker I was just making sure I had did them all right
and thanks again @B_O_R_E_D
np :) @KendrickLamar2014
I didn't say that there is something wrong with asking questions. I think someone needs to put an effort in understanding definitions FIRST! http://everythingmaths.co.za/grade-11/01-exponents-and-surds/pspictures/6cf9c3169297fd65e38898dd073fd5cf.png
