have you tried pressing on the little box below that says reply and then typing ur message and then pressing "post" on the lower right side just a little below the ox you type in

that exactly what i just said but in the private messages click on the little envelope icon o the top left corner and then you'll see on the message a little right of the message you'll see a red "x" which is to delete it and you'll see a little blue icon that looks like a arrow pointing left and then you click it then that will lead you to a little box then type you message the first box that says the name of the user your sending it to you dont have to worry about that. Just type the message in the big box and press send at the bottom right of that big box of where you typed your message.
