Hello, Miss. I believe the answer to be B, but I am not entirely sure. My guess is based on the following, from wikipedia: "The male (...) produce yellowish pollen through meiosis. Pollen is released and carried by the wind to female cones. Pollen grains from living pinophyte species produce pollen tubes, much like those of angiosperms. When a pollen grain lands near a female gametophyte, it undergoes fertilization of the female gametophyte." So that is why I guess that, the male release the pollen or seeds, and that gametophytes grow. But once again, I am not entirely sure.
