@AnnalieseBronz help
Im not sure on my answers
What?
The direct speech.... I need to make it a reported speech...
this one is a direct speech.... The florist told the customer,"These flowers come fresh directly from Baguio."
The florist told the customer \(that\) \(those\) flowers \(came\) fresh directly from Baguio.
How about this..... Shakespeare has written," Love is not time's fool though rosy lips and cheeks/ within his bending sickle's compass come
I am not sure on this one... whether the verbs change tense or not.
I think you just replace the comma and the quotes with a that. All the verbs stay the same Shakespeare has written that love is not time's fool though rosy lips and cheeks/ within his bending sickle's compass come.
Or it just might be better to change the order of the words.... poetry doesn't make much sense in indirect/reported speech. Try : Shakespeare has written that love is not time's fool though rosy lips and cheeks come within his bending sickle's compass.
its not "wrote"?
You never change the verb outside the quote... Just most times you have to make the verb inside the quote match the one outside.
