Solve for x x^3 + x^2 - 2x + 1

OpenStudy (paxpolaris):

solve? is this equal to 0?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its going to be a point i can plot so like (x,0) and its not equal to 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops clicked wrong button

OpenStudy (triciaal):

this is incomplete x(x^2 + x -2) + 1 x(x+2)(x-1) + 1 this is where I stopped putting this function into the calculator gave a graph looking like this for x <-2 y<0 intercept (-2,0) (0,1) minimum (1/2,1/2) maximum(-1,3) (2,9) I am thinking that to continue express 1 as x/x then do the numerator as ax^2 +x where a = (x+2)(x+1) then treat like a regular quadratic

OpenStudy (triciaal):

actual f(-2) = 1
