2. Use the Law of Syllogism to draw a conclusion from the two given statements . If two lines intersect and form right angles, then the lines are perpendicular . If two lines are perpendicular, then they intersect and form 90° angles . a. the lines intersect and form 90° angles b. if two lines do not intersect and form 90° angles , then they do not form right angles . c. the lines are perpendicular . d. if two lines intersect and form right angles , then they intersect and form 90° angles .

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Define Law of Syllogism? (Just making sure you know your stuff)

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Well anyway the answer should be A if memory serves me correctly on the Syllogism law. e_e

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You sure? @kittiwitti1

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

...I just got back in school gimme a break. Lol hold on.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol okay @kittiwitti1

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

"In mathematical logic, the Law of Syllogism says that if the following two statements are true: (1) If p, then q. Then we can derive a third true statement: (3) If p, then r." p is the perpendicular part. q is intersect & form right angles. r would be the 90 degree angle.... So yeah, letter A.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, thank you (:

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

No problem! :) Don't forget to close the question ^^ (and go ahead with sending me a message if you need any more help! :] )
