Find the coordinates of the vertices of the figure formed by: y> 1/4x + 3/4 y> -x + 7 y< 2/3x + 2 Select one: a. (–3, 0), (3, 4), (5, 2) b. (–4, 0), (5, 4), (5, 2) c. (–4, 0), (3, 4), (5, 2) d. (–3, 0), (5, 4 ), (5, 2)

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

vertices occur when lines cross set the equations equal to get intersection points --> 1/4 x +3/4 = -x + 7 --> 2/3x + 2 = -x + 7 --> 1/4x + 3/4 = 2/3 x + 2

is it b

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

did you solve each equation for x? do those points match with option B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeaa is it d?

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

lol ok well since we are playing multiple choice musical chairs I will leave now use your algebra skills to solve the 3 equations i posted if you post your work i will verify it for you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol alritee

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or you can simply just graph everything out of the same graph and shade it then find the intersecting points, graphing them is pretty easy

Thanks nicholas :) and thanks for not getting a nasty attudie!
