The equation we came up to as a result was x + y = 3 To convert this to slope intercept form, you need to isolate the y on one side

Subtract y from each side: x + y -y = 3 - y Which will come down to x = 3 - y Then, subtract 3 from each side: x -3 = 3 - y - 3 Which equals x - 3 = y, then just flip it all around lol y = x - 3
