I need help with some chemistry but it has math in it and i don't know how to calculate it... A solid block with a length of 6.0 cm, a width of 3.0 cm, and a height of 3.0 cm has a mass of 146 g. What is the block’s density? Show your work.

..

OpenStudy (kobeni-chan):

Density is mass divided by volume. You have the mass, so you need to find the volume. V = length x width x height Once you have the volume, divide the mass by volume It will be ___g/cm^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so it'd be.. 6.0x3.0x3.0=54 146/54=2.7grams? ;o

OpenStudy (kobeni-chan):

yup c:

tank you ^~^
