OpenStudy (alphadxg):

abiotic factors - non-living chemical and physical parts of the environment that affect living organisms and the functioning of ecosystems A - plants, this would not make sense according to the deffinition AND if you compare the answers.

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

@CarrieAnn_04 Let me know if that is good help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Abiotic is for non living whereas biotic is living, Its plants. Soil is formed from organisms dying, temperature is from the sun and or other factors, and air is from factors such as the ocean. Plants are the only living thing.
