OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

Can We have a fitness section? so that all the people on Os that have experience can teach those that want to find a way to gain muscles.

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

Please i just want this to work out ;-;

OpenStudy (abhisar):

We have a `Health science` section.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

No you arn't a failure. Every idea is unique and valuable :)

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

health science is for the reproduction system and for medical things

OpenStudy (abhisar):

No ! It is for everything concerned with health

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

can we just have a fitness section so people can start going look at it ^_^ people dont care about health science

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

listen to the name "health science" what does it make you think?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Well i can't comment on that. I can just say that if someone needs to post any question related to fitness and body building then he/she can post it on health science section ryt now

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

it makes me thing about school that in health class all they talk about is reproduction and fitness is much more than that

OpenStudy (abhisar):

To me Health Science means science related to Health.

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

@e.mccormick please give your opinion

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

The actual subject is NOT "Health Science" singular, it is "Health Sciences" plural. This includes all the sciences related to health, including Physical Fitness and Kinesiology. It is a family of sciences. Another example of this on the site is "Social Sciences." That is not just Sociology. It is also Law, Communications, and a lot of other things.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

YEs i agree

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Personally, I wish they had done more of these broad topics and put the others underneath them. Like Physical Sciences to cover physics, chemistry, etc. Then it would be easier to track a large group of questions in different topics.

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

but let me ask you @e.mccormick how do you get a dead subject active again -_- cause if i go there and i post a question no ones going to answer and its probably going to be a person that has no experience

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

just to get a medal

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

and thats exactly why i want a fitness section ^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@just_one_last_goodbye fen me i will help you with the fitness

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

People use the chats to ask about questions in less used sections. In chat post something like: I have a health and fitness question. Anyone help? http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/54132750e4b08b11f131d454 And that can go in ANY chat. Even different chats. You hit 3, 4 different chats like that, it is NOT spam. Now, you post it in any chat every minute, it is spammy. Wait at least 10 or 15 before hitting a chat again, which is why hitting say Math, English, Design, and History all at once is good. Those are more popular chats and have the best chance of getting someone to notice.

OpenStudy (lcnettech):

i think we should have on

OpenStudy (preetha):

Hmm, we are trying to stick to academic topics.....I am a believer in health and fitness but there are plenty of forums for those sorts of chats.

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

@Preetha can i have like a little form that emails me for anyone that signs up cause i have allot of people that would love to work with people that i personally know that they are full of experience

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Just, you mean something like Invite in the upper right?

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

like make a little club

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Well, fandom on the site makes a little club.

OpenStudy (lcnettech):

i think we should have a fitness section.health science isnt all just about fittnes and a fitness section would be only about fitness so people can answer only stuff about fitness.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

@lcnettech There is not enough interest to make it stand alone. If there was, Health Science would have a ton of questions on fitness in it already. Then it might be worth it to make a sub topic, but not necessarily a topic. A new topic for people to ignore is not what the site needs.

OpenStudy (lcnettech):

there are alot of peps on here that would love a fitness .a few days ago there were over 10 peps arguing just to get one.

thomaster (thomaster):

Fitness doesn't really relate closely to "study". There are plenty of bodybuilding and physical fitness forums/websites as Preetha stated. OpenStudy is not one of them.
