hay im new here and I have to write a 4 page essay on how do our past experiences inform (influence) our identity? also I am supposed to choose from 2 English literature short stories facts to connect back to the questions. those stories are At the pitt rivers and Demon lover. does anyone know those stories and if so can you summarize them for me please. also how does one get a thesis

I have never read those stories. But a theses should be basically 2-3 sentences that is the heart (core, the point you want to get across) of your essay. The introduction should have the first sentence be the attention grabber, a interesting and short explanation of what will happen in the essay (organizing), and somewhere in that introduction you should have your thesis. You could even end your introduction with your thesis.

Introduction should be your guideline to what you will be saying. It should never leave the reader wondering what will this person say in their body paragraphs. From there you should answer the given question yes or no. (Given question: Something about past shaping our identity.)
