5|3w + 2| - 3 > 7

I got 0 as an answer...but my answer book says that -4/3 is also a solution...I have no idea how they got that...

Firt thing to do is to move the -3 to the other side. That gives you 5 I 3w + 2 I > 10
Then you have to divide both sides by 5 to get I 3w + 2 I > 2
Then you remove the absolute value signs and you get two possible solutions, they are this:
3w + 2 > 2 and 3w + 2 > -2
