I need ideas for writing about. I have to write many essays. I'd like as many ideas as possible, so please list a lot in your reply.

Depends on what you're interested in, really. And how much experience/knowledge you have in the subject. If you're good in politics, pick a leader in your region and tell of their ideas/beliefs/policies, as well as how much they are contributing.
If you're into food, something like discussing if smell or taste is more important, or appearance.
If youre into history, something like wars and the beliefs versus now.

Honestly, I'd talk about current events, like what's going on in Russia/Ukraine, Oil reserves, America vs. ISIS, or even still remembering 9/11 and it's pros or cons - like is it an obsession to anger and never forgiving.
