Timely is probably complimenting the word traveller in this sentence. Timely is probably suggesting the inn is no longer in existence. Timely is probably suggesting the inn was reached just in time. Timely is probably used to describe the inn's appearance.
I would say the last one because it could be describing it as looking old
Or the the one before that in the context that would make more sense sorry
