Sig fig question. when do you round to the least specific and when do you round to the least amount of sig figs?

When you are adding number you count the least specific. 2,06 + 1,0= 3,1 When you are multipliying or dividing you count the least number of sig figs. 2.06 x (1,0) = 2,1
