Find a vector parametric equation r(t) for the line through the points P=(-3,5,3) and Q=(-2,4,-1) for each of the given conditions on the parameter t If r(0) = <-3,5,3> and r(3)=<-2,4,-1>, then r(t)=??? I got (-3, 5, 3)+(1, -1, -4)t as the equation for PQ but don't know where to go from there

OpenStudy (phi):

ok on your equation for If r(0) = <-3,5,3> and r(3)=<-2,4,-1> you scale the direction vector (1, -1, -4) by 1 /3 so r(t) = <-3,5,3> + (1, -1, -4)/3 t
