I got C, but I was told by other users that there is another answer that's correct as well, such as option "A" .. so I don't understand- there's only one answer.

For example, lets use (-3,4) in figure 1.
If we reflect over y-axis, the point becomes (3,4)
Then over the x-axis, (3,-4) which is not a point in figure 2
