myininaya (myininaya):

isn't there a formula you can use for that? It goes something like this: \[p(A|B')=\frac{p(A n B')}{p(B')}\]

myininaya (myininaya):

just plug in and simplify

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah I get .0285 and thats 7/25 as a fraction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

unless i did wrong calculations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0.285*

myininaya (myininaya):

yea 7/25 is not what I'm getting

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay second

myininaya (myininaya):

the top is 1/6 the bottom is 7/12 \[\frac{\frac{1}{6}}{\frac{7}{12}} =\frac{1}{6} \div \frac{7}{12}\] you can change this to multiplication by flipping that second number there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2/7

myininaya (myininaya):

yes 2/7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was changing the fractions to decimals thats why. It worked for the others idk

myininaya (myininaya):

like that means you did this: .1666666/.5833333 those are both repeating decimals ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah the rest werent so that makes since

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

myininaya (myininaya):
