15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well you didn't select an answer bud!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And 15 what? We are talking points on a number line and the distance between them lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So AC, if you look is 6 units apart. Which other two points are 6 units apart?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B and E are 6 units apart from one another right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh wait I posted the wrong example ..but I'll do this one hold on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes so its BE ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Cosmichaotic 6 apart right , it has to be even with AC correct ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right. So instead of 'even', we say 'congruent'. In this case AC is congruent with BE because each are separated by 6 units.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nice ty I get it .. congruent means even

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not exactly. Even* in mathematics can refer to a couple things, but congruence really refers to similarity, or equivalency.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think.
