can anyone give me a brief description of federalists and anti-federalists and what their goals were?

Well Federalists where the ones Wanted constitution ratified, they wanted a a national government to have economic growth (under the article of conf, there wasn't a currency exchange established so it made it hard for trading.) and they also wanted individual freedom. Now anti-federalists, they didn't want the Constitution ratified, they thought that it would give too much right to the central government, so they wanted more powers for the states and individual rights so they asked for the bill of rights. hope it helps somehow.
