Is, (0,3) a solution to the equation y=x+3?

OpenStudy (eric_d):

yes

OpenStudy (stefrheart):

you should replace the y with 0 and the x with 3 so it becomes 0=3+3 then you solve it. If it doesnt equal then it is not a solution if it does then it is a solution

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

stefrheart you mixed up x and y

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

(0,3) means x = 0 and y = 3
