Which of the following represents "the square of the sum of a number and 4 is 36"? x2 + 42 = 36 x2 + 4 = 36 (x + 4)2 = 36

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

the sum of a number is the result of addition....so the sum of a number and 4 is (x + 4)....and if its squared, it is (x + 4)^2....equals 36 so your answer is : (x + 4)^2 = 36
