Question: lets say you have a mixture of 100 iron-rich magnetic particles and 100 grains of table salt. Come up with at least three different ways to separate the particles and grains. Hint: Think of some of the physical properties of these substances.

Answer 1): Use a magnet to collect all of the iron filings from the mixture of salt and iron filings.

Answer 2): Put the salt and iron mixture in a cup of water then use a magnet to pick up the iron filings and then use filter paper to dry the iron and then mix the salt and water then heat the mixure untill all the water evaporates.

can u use the difference in density of the both to separate ?
