First to understand the question we need to know what the term interest groups mean. Interest group- a group of people who try to influence politics or the policies of government, business, etc., in a way that helps their own interests

Almost the same definition. So I would agree with the cartoonist, because I believe our government is corrupt. True power is in the hands of the many, and lobbyists work together to protect their own interests.
