Which of the following scenarios does not involve the analysis of multiple interpretations? A doctor has diagnosed you as having strep throat. You do not want to take the antibiotics that were prescribed as the remedy, so you seek a second opinion. You and your sister are arguing over whose turn it is to wash the dishes. You approach your parents and ask them to intervene. Your parents ask both of you why you think you are right. The local news stations are covering a story about a lost child. You tune to one station and hear that the child was last seen with a male parent. On another station, the report states that the child was last seen with her father. Your school is holding student government elections. Today, the candidates for class president speak about the need to have an open campus during lunch. One candidate states that an open campus is vital to preserving the sense of freedom young adults need. The other candidate insists that an open campus would lead to an overwhelming sense of irresponsibility among the students of your school.
