One company assigns each customer an account number consisting of seven alphanumeric characters (A to Z, 0 to 9). How many ways can they be arranged if there is no restriction on the selection, arrangement, or repetition of the seven characters?

so you have a total of 36 characters for each position in the account number so you have position | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th| etc =========================== choices | 36 x 36 x 36 x 36 etc hope you get the idea of how to calculate it... and its a huge number
