@k_lynn
@Melissy IDK, sorry. :(
Letter grade is a variable measured at the ordinal level because the values of the variable can be ranked, but differences in values have no meaning. For example, an A is better than a B, but A – B has no meaning. So i think it is B not d.
could you help me with another?
the gender of people attending a football game a. qualitative/nominal b. qualitative/ordinal c.quantitative/continuous d.quantitative/ discrete i think it is a
i'll try yeah i think you are right because you cannot rank female or male
one more? the number of earrings sold at a jewelry store a. qualitative/nominal b. qualitative/ordinal c.quantitative/continuous d.quantitative/ discrete i think it is c
not sure about this one. let's just analyze. for sure this is quantitative. why do you think it is continuous and not discrete?
i think its continuous because it can be any number of earrings
well i think it is discrete because it is referring to THE number (means specific number) of earrings. If it says the weight of the carat of gold/silver in the earrings then I think it will be continuous. (clue: continuous something you can measure not COUNT-that's what i know)
oh that makes sense! thank you for your help
