I just did this assignment! The way to look at is like this:
Brutus had only made ethical please to the crowd. As you will learn in 4.06, you need to have all three types of pleas. Ethical, Logical, and Emotional. Antony did just that.

Some examples why Antony gave the better speech:
He didn't make the speech about himself. He made the speech about how much of an "honorable" (sarcastically of course) man Brutus was.
He also disputes the claim that Caesar would have made the commoners slaves. Antony proves this to be false when he reads Caesar's will.
