Find the measure of the larger of two supplementary angles if one is 15 less than twice the other. I was able to make an equation: x+x-15=180. I got 2x=195.

Not quite...that is indeed 15 less than the other... but the question states " 15 less than TWICE the other" \[\large x + (2x - 15) = 180\]
