Hi could you please help me finding the inverse function of this equation y = sqrt ( (8-2x-x^2)^2 0

this is what i have so far but im testing composing f and f-1 and is not working also using graphing tools and nothing

You have two different versions of the problem. The problem on you paper doesn't square (8-2x-x^2) In either version, the functions are not one-to-one so they don't have an inverse functions. If you graph both equations one will give you a half circle and the other a parabola. Both of which fail the horizontal line test. So they are not one-to-one.
