If you were a Hollywood movie producer, and you were remaking this video for a 21st century audience, what celebrity or well-known person would you cast as the speaker, and where would you set the scene? Compare or contrast your choices with at least one of the given versions from this lesson. I put this and she says i got the second part wrong help please.
For a remake of the “Seven stages of man” by William Shakespeare adapted to the 21st century, I would personally choose Nicolas Cage as the actor, because I would choose to portray that he is giving advice because he has been though it all. I would set it in an old style bar while Nicolas Cage is drinking an alcoholic drink so he has more flow when he speaks, with a crowd of people sitting around him, all focusing on what he is saying. The reason I would choose to set it in a bar is because it would create a warm atmosphere. It would be like the first video I was shown but fit for the 21st century but also merged with the second one because he is telling a story. The first video the actor was speaking to an audience I would like to use that technique too but not on a stage at the bar with fewer people. The influence of alcohol is key in my scene because is create a flow of words, hes not really over thinking what he is saying or doing so he just goes with this instinct. Finally I think Nicolas Cage would be the perfect actor because he is able to act crazy: yet completely sane; family orientated or even the oposite.
