OMG i love The Vampire Academy series. They are by Richelle Meade and there are 7 books. They are amazing i literally have read them like 6 times each.

A series of unfortunate events are a really good book series.  It's basically about 3 children, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire.  Their parents died in a fire and they are always being put in unfortunate situations.  Their distant uncle or cousin, Count Olaf, is set on trying to steal the fortune that the Baudelaire parents left behind.  There are 13 or 12 books in this series.  The author is under the pen name "Lemony Snicket"
