how do i solve 5r-1/5=4/5

multiply both sides by 5, which cancels out the denominator the equation becomes 5r-1=4 add1 to the right side and add 1 to the left side to cancel out the 1. then the equation becomes 5r=5 divide by 5 both sides, r=1
