Here's something:

The Big Bang Theory attempts to explain the beginning of our universe. It states the earth is billions of years old. The universe begun as infinitesimally small, infinitely hot, and infinitely dense. It somehow inflated and became a 'Big Bang', it expanded and cooled off. It was very small but then it expanded to the size it is now, with the exact temperatures. It is believed that the universe is still cooling off. Scientists can't exactly prove the Big Bang theory, but they have no other explanation for the beginning of the Universe.
