Example:
"Hi Mr. Fetch!" Darius said to his teacher, who was standing in the check-out line.
"Hello, Darius. It looks like you are buying food for a picnic. I hope you still have time to finish your big class project before the party. Have you made much progress?"
Darius hemmed and hawed a bit, then admitted he had not.
